CBT Assessment Guide

Chapter 4: Exam & Testing Center Manual

Our Computer-Based Testing (CBT) environment is a secure, state-of-the-art system designed for candidate evaluation and credential exams. This guide provides clear instructions on taking exams and how local center coordinators manage seat spaces.

๐Ÿ“
Important Testing Rule: Once your exam session begins, do not switch browser windows or minimize the page. The security monitor will automatically alert administrators and may terminate your test session.

1. Candidate Exam Walkthrough

If you are scheduled to take an assessment test at our hub or online:

Step 1: Check-in and System Verification

Log in and access the Scheduled Exams tab. When you click on your test, you enter the Exam Lobby. The system will request permissions to access your webcam to verify candidate identity and perform a security test check.

Step 2: Starting the Assessment

Read the test instructions carefully (duration, question count, and passing threshold). Click "Start Exam" when ready. The timer in the top header will begin counting down immediately.

Step 3: Answering and Navigation

Select your answers and click "Next Question". You can navigate back to double-check earlier questions if needed. The test automatically auto-saves your choices as you click them.

Step 4: Submitting and Viewing Results

When you are done, click the red "Submit Exam" button and confirm. If the timer runs out, the test submits automatically. Once submitted, your scores and pass/fail status are generated. View your performance history under the "Results History" dashboard tab.

2. Center Partner Guidelines

Registered institutional partners who lease or manage testing centers can control their local candidate testing halls via the **Partner Area**:

  • ๐Ÿซ Seat Allocation: Add seat numbers and assign local workstations. Monitor IP addresses and device status to ensure hardware terminals are online.
  • ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Live Invigilation Monitor: View a live list of active exam sessions in your hall. The system highlights flagged candidate accounts who switch screens or exhibit camera warning blocks.
  • โš ๏ธ Invigilation Actions: You can issue a visual warning to a candidate's screen, or terminate their active test session instantly if cheating is confirmed.
